MATCHING CHRISTMAS PAJAMAS

Aren't Christmas traditions wonderful!? 

We have a few of them and one of my favorites is to buy matching christmas pajamas for my kids and watch them open them up on Christmas Eve.


Once they unwrap them and put them on, I ask them to sit next to each other around the Christmas tree for a quick 2 minute photo shoot. 

We take some nice ones and add in LOTS of silly poses. These holiday photos get framed and are turned into Christmas ornaments for our tree.


Over the years it has been so fun to see how they've grown from one holiday season to the next. 

My oldest is now a pre-teen so finding inexpensive Christmas pajamas that match at a regular retail store is starting to get tricky. 

They are hard to find!

Country Chic Paint: Fireside

** I received Country Chic Paint to complete this project, however the thoughts and opinions presented here are 100% my own.

In our home, we decorate with LOVE and PURPOSE. Every Halloween we pull out old Halloween photos of the kids from years past and use those to decorate our house. It's meaningful, it's cheap, it creates GIGGLES and it allows us to reminince old stories. I needed to add some new Halloween picture frames to our stash and decided to up-cycle some frames that I already had instead of going out and buying new ones. And I'm thrilled to try out one of Country Chic Paint's new colors... Fireside. 

I gathered up my old frames, painters tape, a chevron stencil and Country Chic Paint in Vanilla Frosting, Liquorice and Fireside and opted for a mix of bold patterns with some solids.

Repurposed China Hutch Halloween Sign

After I was finished my sweet husband turned to me and said, “Now we can get rid of the top part of the hutch, right?” I knew what he wanted… he wanted his garage back. To him the left over hutch top looked useless. I gave him a smile and just shook my head. “The top of that cabinet has a potential of uses.”



I have re-purposed china hutches on several occasions. My favorite way to re-purpose a china cabinet is by transforming them into stand alone furniture pieces. You can see how we up-cycled this china cabinet into a separate buffet and cabinet simply by adding feet to both pieces here.
