Fab Furniture Flippin' Contest June WINNER!

**This project was sponsored by The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Co. However, the opinions and thoughts expressed within this post are 100% my own.

For the past few weeks we have been watching some pretty amazing furniture makeovers roll in to The Fab Furniture Flippin' Contest

Our amazing sponsor this month is The Old Fashioned Milk Paint Co and one contestant is about to win a FABULOUS and GENEROUS prize package from them! We are so ecstatic that TODAY is the day that we get to announce the WINNER!

But, before we announce the winner, I want to share a few of my personal favorites from this month's "Shabby Chic Storage" themed competition.

Brooke from Start At Home turned an old vintage record player into a custom bench and it looks amazing! I love the thought of repurposing an outdated piece and making it functional again. Brooke did such a lovely job of matching her new and updated bench and snuggling it up in between her hutch and bookcase that it really looks like it is one custom built in. It's AMAZING, Brooke! Go take a peak at Start At Home to view the full transformation!

I'm a real sucker for green furniture! Bre from Brepurposed gave an all white vintage desk some personality and dimension with OFMP Tavern Green. It has the perfect amount of distressing, beautifully lined drawers and lovely contrasting knobs. I could write a hundred postcards from this very desk, Bre! Visit Brepurposed to see the entire painted desk makeover.

I have yet to pair natural wood grain with paint on a refinished piece of furniture, but darn it if Jenny from Refresh Living hasn't inspired me to do so! I could stare at that herringbone design and those glass knobs for days. ;) That combination is surely going on my bucket list! Stop by Refresh Living to check out the full reveal.

Congratulations, Colleen from 58 Water Street, you are our winner! Colleen started with a really old Jelly Cupboard which happened to be originally painted in Milk Paint. She used a combination of stain and OFMP's Soldier Blue on this makeover. Colleen, I love the story behind your piece of history and all of the shabby details that it now brings. It really looks so gorgeous in your living space! To view this transformation and to read her story in its entirety, hop on over to 58 Water Street

A HUGE thank you to OFMP for offering such an AMAZING prize package. Colleen, you have won the following!:

Six quarts of OFMP (your choice of colors), One quart of Extra-Bond, One pint of Antique Crackle, One 5 oz. tin of Daddy Van's Clear Wax (in either Unscented, Lavender or Orange Oil), and One 2 oz. tin EACH of Daddy Van's Antique Brown & Shadow Black waxes.
