Looks great as a lipstick. And I can see it as a shirt. But as an upholstery or paint color? Bleh! That screams 1980's to me and I'm not ready for history to repeat itself.

Since we're nearly to the half way mark through 2015, I thought I'd find some furniture inspiration from this hue and maybe... just maybe I might change my mind?
But I struck out. Nada. Nothing. Zero. I can't go there.
I did, however find this hair color which resembles Marsala and I do love this!

Which brings me back full circle to the opinion that the 2015 Pantone Color of the Year: Marsala is great for lips, cheeks, eyes, nails, shirts, and hair! If you've designed a room, re-upholstered a chair or painted a piece of furniture using Marsala, I'd love to see it!
